| VISAS
AND DOCUMENTATION
Indians are not required
to obtain Nepal visa. We obtain your visa
for Tibet from Chinese Embassy and all necessary
permits for the yatra. Photocopy of passport
with details (full name exactly like in
the passport, date of birth, occupation,
passport number and Nationality) should
reach us at least 4 weeks before the commencement
of tour. Passport must be valid for at least
6 months from the date of entry in Tibet.
TRANSPORTATION
Kathmandu/Kodari/Kathmandu
by private bus for the group. Thereafter
throughout the journey in Tibet you will
be travelling in Japanese Toyota Landcruiser
jeep. Yours luggage, food and all camping
equipments will be carried in a truck.
ACCOMMODATION
In Tibet accommodation
at the guest houses and lodges have basic
facilities without any modern amenities.
During camping high altitude tents with
mattress and sleeping bags will be provided.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
We will be providing all
pure vegetarian meals throughout the tour
in Tibet. You are advised to bring sufficient
supplementary food like chocolates, biscuits,
nuts, bhujias, nimkins, pickles, etc. for
yourself.
BRIEFING &
ORIENTATION
There will be detail briefing
on the programme and on altitude sickness,
its symptoms and prevention on the day of
your arrival in Kathmandu.
TEMPERATURE
AND WEATHER
In Tibet weather condition
from May to September is dry and sunny.
Maximum temperature can be as high as 22
degrees centigrade and minimum temperature
at night will drop as low as 0 to -10 degrees
centigrade at the altitudes of 5000 meters.
The average daily temperature will be 10
degrees. There is an incredible drop in
temperature from early afternoon to evening
time.
HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
All participants are advised
to have health certificate given by a reputed
doctor confirming that they are fit to take
Kailash Mansarovar yatra. We provide basic
first aid items but highly recommend you
to bring your own first aid kit containing
medicines against altitude sickness, wound,
cold, allergies, pain, fever, diarrhoea,
dehydration, cough, infection etc (please
consult your doctor). Walking for 4 to 5
Kms per day at least 4 to 5 weeks prior
to the departure date is recommended.
We are jointly trying
to set-up medical aid-post at the places
where medical facilities are not available
till date.
OXYGEN
We provide oxygen bottle
in each jeep. Enough oxygen will be taken
for Parikrama. Besides this with every group
we also carry Gemow bag (Portable Altitude
Chamber), a life saving bag for emergency
use.
CURRENCY
At present 1 Yuan = INRs.
6.00 approximately. You can change INRs
at the border or at Zhangmu.
TOUR LEADER/STAFF/GUIDE
With each group we send
professional tour leader/coordinator from
our company besides highly experienced Sherpas
who have been to Kailash area for many times.
They are responsible for all camping &
cooking arrangements. Local English speaking
guide will be provided by our counter part
in Tibet.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Still cameras, home video
cameras and 8 mm movie cameras are allowed
in Tibet. However, special permission is
required for 16 mm and 35 mm movie cameras
INSURANCE
To protect against unforeseen
circumstances, we advise you to take a trip
cancellation and medical insurance policy
in your home country. The policy should
also include coverage of transportation
cost in the event of helicopter or surface
evacuation being required. We regret, such
policies are not available in Nepal.

RECHARGING
Places you can communicate
by telephone and re-charge batteries are
Nyalam, Saga, Paryang, Darchen and Hor Qu
village. Every day we keep our agent or
clients family/friends updated about their
position on the yatra. For this if you wish,
you may give us the email address.
CLOTHING, EQUIPMENT
AND ACCESSORIES FOR KAILASH TOURS
While driving to Kailash,
it will be warm inside the vehicle but very
cold outside. Mornings and evenings will
be generally cold and warm clothing will
be required. We recommend that you bring
the following clothing and accessories with
you -

MODE OF PAYMENT,
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Unless other prior arrangements have
been made, bookings are accepted
after receipt of the completed booking
form, 2 copies of passport size
photographs and non-refundable deposit
of INR. 5,000.00 per person 3 weeks
before the commencement of the
tour
- Full payment must be made at least
2 weeks before the commencement
of the tour.
- There will be 50% cancellation charge
for confirmed bookings within
1 week prior to departure. No refunds
thereafter. No refunds for
NO-SHOWS or AFTER THE COMMENCEMENT
OF TOUR or DELAYED ARRIVALS of participants
for whatsoever reasons.
- Any foreseen cost increase beyond
our control will be passed on
directly to the client whenever such
increase are effected.
- Cost does not include insurance of
any type.
- Chinese authorities reserve the right
to –
a. Change the itinerary due to the reasons
beyond our control
b. After the length of the itinerary
if necessary
c. Increase the cost as a result of
change of itinerary and prolongation
of tour.
- Any increases to be borne by the participants
are liable to be collected directly
in Nepal before departure.
TOUR CANCELLATION
There will be 50% cancellation
charge for confirmed bookings within one
week prior to departure date. No refund
thereafter. No refund for NO-SHOWS
or AFTER THE COMMENCEMENT OF TOUR
or DELAYED ARRIVALS of
participants for whatsoever reasons.
Please
note that the infrastructure for tourism
industry in Tibet is very basic and inadequate.
As such, please do not expect the standard
you are accustomed to in other countries.
However, we will put every effort up-to
our limitation under the circumstances to
ensure your journey as smooth and comfortable
as possible.

between the concerned airlines, hotels transport
operators and local tourist offices providing

are therefore not responsible for any loss,
injury or damage sustained by the tourists,
including those occurring outside the touring
programs. Additional expenses incurred due
to delay, accident, natural disaster, political
action and unrest must be borne by the tourists.
